In this position, you will be responsible for design storage board base on X86 platforms, which including such as Intel CPU & chipset and LSI & PMC SAS controller and expander. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
In this position, you will be responsible for design storage board base on X86 platforms, which including such as Intel CPU & chipset and LSI & PMC SAS controller and expander. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Study and understand overall storage system product configuration
- Design spec study and assist the HW design leader write the spec from HW level
- Design the schematics of a project base on the spec and PRD, including components selection.
- Provide PCB layout instruction and review the PCB layout.
- CPLD coding for a board's power sequence & GPIO control
- Study and executes design principles from main chipsets
- Bring-up and debug on the designed prototype
You must possess a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering/Automation/Computer Science with above 3 years experience
Additional qualifications include:
- Strongly electrical circuit design skills
- Background of computer architecture & electrical engineering, especially on server and storage
- Understand environmental testing, such as EMC, NEBS, etc.
- Understand thermal, mechanical, power engineering knowledge
- Capability on problem solving & debug skill
- CPLD coding capability is required
- Proactive and willing to study new technology
- Excellent communication and co-ordinations skill is perfect.
