Job Duties:

• Partner with Director, Raw Material, local and overseas Product Development and Design teams to implement the sourcing strategy on hardware materials

• Investigate hardware fashion trends of accessories industry

• Verify feasibility of hardware developments and assist design team on related issues

• Access and rate hardware sources for optimum selection in line with the source planning

• Monitor commodity prices trends to achieve competitive cost

• Negotiate MOQ, surcharge and lead-time

• Investigate technical and quality problems and coordinate closely with internal/ external parties to ensure smooth resolution

• Develop business relationships with hardware suppliers

• Manage sampling hardware for all Protos and SMS ensuring timing, quality and delivery

• Involvement in bulk material production, monitor quality, solutions to related issue

• Assist in other ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• College degree or above.

• 5 years above experience in hardware sourcing, preferably in Handbag industry.

• English level above CET-6 with proven ability to write and speak in English.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• PD development process follow up.
