CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, design, create, test and deploy new components and assemblies for RFID production sites globally

• Integrate new hardware solutions with existing systems

• System testing and quality assurance

• Support, maintain and document system functionality

• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation

• Participate to Project Planning in collaboration with Project Management

• Work with contractors, internal and external stakeholders to develop and deploy solutions.

• Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.

• Present information and effectively communicate with divisions and cross-functionally.  Orally present findings to team and management.

• Drive growth, cost reduction, yield and product quality improvements, and capacity increases.

• Maintain awareness of advances in technology and competitive intellectual property (patents).

• Write technical reports and document research.  Summarize critical results and observations. Verify reliability of data.

• Propose, design, deploy and support multiple projects.

• Lead and conduct problem solving efforts and propose resolutions.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

• Someone with a passion for Hardware design and 3+ years of hardware development experience

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or related field

• Strong experience with modern CAD tools

• Understanding of sensors and microcontrollers

• Operations and process development experience is a plus

• Experience with RFID and/or other wireless technologies is a big plus

• Experience in working with external suppliers

• Highly organized and strong attention to detail

• Knowledgeable on process documentation and improvement

• Fluent in verbal and written English

• Ability to work both individually and in a team

• International and domestic travel required 25-50%
