Our group is a part of mobile and desktop SoC development design team with world leading products in every parameter. Our role is to estimate, model, and optimize power and performance of SoC products from definition to market. We have diverse, inter-disciplinary team that keeps improving tools, flows and methodologies for innovating in the field of low power, high performance SoC products.
We're looking for a highly motivated, talented engineer to join Intel's client power-performance group, to be a part of leading edge SoC projects ever done before. In this role, you will join the team running key execution roles in power estimation and optimization, work with project power modeling owners, develop tools, flows and methods in power estimation/optimization domain, and play a major role in project power convergence.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop high productivity power estimation tools, flows and methods through design automation
  • Run technology readiness studies and engage with design automation engineers to assimilate estimation features to production
  • Lead subsystem power execution work in all product milestones from inception to silicon in order to debug and estimate power. This work includes working with HW design teams and architects to meet power targets, by optimizations, power analysis and advanced power modeling.

Qualifications

  • B.SC in Electrical Engineering or Computers Engineering or Computer and Software Engineering
  • Auto-place-and-route (APR) experience using Synopsys and/or Cadence synthesis - advantage
  • Acquaintance with Intel's APR tools, flows and methods, environment and eco-system - advantage
  • Tcl scripting, Python scripting - advantage
  • +1 years of experience
