Job Decsription

Analog Devices is looking for a highly motivated new college graduate with a BSEE or BSEE/MSEE to join the ACE Hardware Design Team.  The ACE Hardware Team is a fast pace, process-oriented environment focused on Audio DSP SHARC/ARM SOC and Automotive Audio Bus PCB design.  This position requires expertise in a broad range of technical disciplines including Digital and Analog design.  The ability to trouble shoot Microprocessors, Digital electronics, Analog circuits (ADC, DAC, Power, and Audio) circuits down to the component level is essential skill that will need to be developed.  Proficiency of C and Assembly languages, real time interrupt driven software applications, Debuggers and JTAG probes are very important for hardware bring-up and debug.

 

Primary Qualifications

  • BSEE with 0-2 years of experience
  • Solid understanding of Digital and Analog circuit theory
  • Schematic entry in a well-known CAD package is required
    •  Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Altium
  • Familiarity with well-known Layout tools such as Allegro and PADS is a plus
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Assembly languages
  • Experience with Real Time software development is required
  • Excellent Oral and written skills are required
  • Knowledge of O-scopes, Logic Analyzers, Multi Meters are essential
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills
  • PCB rework and soldering skills
  • Solid understanding of Windows OS computer

 

Secondary Qualifications

  • Experience and experimentation with Arduino and Raspberry Pi is a plus.  
  • Experience interfacing devices via various protocols such as RS232, SPI, TWI, USB, and CAN
  • Java, Python, JavaScript, VB Script a plus
  • Experience in LTSpice and PCB simulation a plus
  • Familiar with ATE systems is a plus
