About Our Team:
Lenovo is the largest PC company in world, with products including industry-
leading ThinkPad & IdeaPad notebook computers and ThinkCentre & IdeaCentre
desktop computers. The Lenovo Workstation Architecture team is responsible for
the design and development of next generation high-end client desktop
workstations, as well as software solutions tailored around maximizing our
customers’ user experience and productivity.

What You Will Do:
In this position, you will be the hardware engineering intern. As an intern,
you will be responsible for working with the team of hardware architects to
explore new industry concepts which we may offer, validate new design
solutions for applicability in the workstation space, and debug system issues
and problems. Most of the tasks will center around working with the overall
workstation PC or its peripherals, but opportunities may arise to explore
tasks in specific engineering disciplines (thermal, mechanical, electrical,
programming) as well.

#### Position Requirements:


Who You Are

You definitely:
\- Are pursing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science Major, or related
\- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
\- Have experience working with PC Hardware (building, configuring, debugging
problems)
\- Have experience with client-based Operating Systems (Windows 7/10, Linux)


It would be a plus if you:
\- Have strong problem solving skills and engineering fundamentals
\- Are able to work/think independently, yet also work well in a team setting
and take direction from others
\- Have good organizational and communication skills
\- Are open to extending past the summer to work part-time during the school
year (we will work with you on schedule)
