The new W Ibiza will be located in Santa Eulalia, which is a short drive from Ibiza city’s popular high-end entertainment zone. Santa Eulalia is a charming town with various new upper-upscale hotels opening in recent years. The hotel offers 162 rooms and suites and feature extensive B&F facilities with a signature restaurant, all day café with direct access to the boulevard, W Lounge, WET Deck, Beach restaurant Rooftop Bar and W signature Away Spa.

JOB SUMMARY
As a Head Bartender you are responsible for the bar in the W Lounge. You are responsible for creating the cocktel menu and train the team, but also mise en place (refill stock, maintain a representative bar), taking care of payments and leading de bar team.
MAIN RESPOSIBILITIES
Answer guest questions or concerns regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines and cocktels.
Check quality and quantity of all stock and supplies.
Requisition all supplies.
Perform bottle-for-bottle liquor restock.
Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
Obtain change required for expected business level, and keeping bank secure at all times.
Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly.
Ensure staff is working together as a team.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Valuable knowledge of the Local market and suppliers.
2 years previous experience leading a bar.
Fluent English & Spanish
Knowledge of the Hotel Industry.
Spanish work permit is required
