The opportunity:

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort is seeking a Head Chef to lead our newly refurbished and Sicilian inspired Sola Bar & Restaurant and who will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop new, fresh and memorable dining options for all guests across our bars, restaurant, private dining spaces, Provedore and in room dining offering.

 

What we need from you:

• A quirky attitude with the desire to push innovation and creativity developing seasonal and rotating menus across the restaurant, private dining spaces, and special events.
• A passion for your team and developing people with at least 2 years' experience in a leadership role.
• Excited to work collaboratively and creatively with the Front of House team including the Food and Beverage Operations Manager and Outlet Supervisors.
• In depth understanding and experience managing financial reporting including: menu costing, COGs, labour, wastage.
• Commitment to maintaining high and consistent standards of products across all food and beverage outlets.
• Strong written and communication skills.
