Responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies, tax accounting and tax filing / reporting to optimise the tax paid by AIA and to ensure compliance with AIA group tax policy and statutory and regulatory requirements

• Prepare and maintain tax records, returns, reports, and other tax related materials
• Recommend alternative tax treatments to alleviate tax burden and devise legal means to minimise tax liability using thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Conduct research and analysis of existing and upcoming tax legislation to support AIA's tax planning and tax strategy
• Engage with external tax consultants to keep abreast of tax and regulatory developments and provide tax advice to internal stakeholders
