Job Description
Head of Business Development, Asia
We aim to accelerate growth in Region Asia – consisting of China, Japan, Korea, and the Cluster of Taiwan / Hongkong / Singapore.
The Head of Business Development will lead the effort in systematically assessing, identifying, and developing growth driving initiatives in Asia and work closely with all commercial leaders, and other functional leaders in the Region by leading local BD managers. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Asia, serve as a member of the Asia Commercial Leadership Team (ACLT), and is based in Beijing, China.
Responsibilities:
- Anaysis of performance results and provision of data driven insights
- Identify business growth opportunities
- Deveop investment plans to accelerate business growth
- Drive business improvement initiatives to support stronger execution of commercia initiatives
- Colaborate with corporate and local teams to drive growth initiatives
- Drive Annua Business Planning process for Region Asia
- Provide professiona coaching and feedback to local BD team members
Professional qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in anaytical roles within the areas of Business Development, Consulting, Sales, or Commercial Excellence
- M.Sc. degree with top grades, MBA preferred
- Demonstrated business deveopment and business analysis capabilities
- Demonstrated strong project management capabiities
- Documented skils in change management
- Highy analytical with strong numerical skills
- Fuent in English
