This is what truly matters to us. Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as a Head of Clinical Excellence, in the Point-of-Care Diagnostics Business (POC) in our Product Life Cycle organization. The POC business develops and sustains systems for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) instruments for point of care and laboratory medical testing. This is role is well-suited to an ambitious professional looking for the next step in your career. As a Head of Clinical Excellence you will lead and set global clinical commercial strategic vision aligned with POC Franchises’ business objectives and provide leadership for the clinical marketing, clinical consultants, and KOL management disciplines for the POC Franchises. Responsibilities: Clinical Sales and Marketing Lead and empower an experienced team to develop, execute and facilitate clinical plans globally that will help to position the POC Franchises as best in class. Develop and execute plans for clinical consultants that will drive deeper utilization of Siemens Healthineers POC Franchises’ products to achieve growth and profitability targets. Consult and collaborate with global commercial and regional teams to prioritize and align strategies with business goals that drive market share expansion and create preference for Siemens Healthineers POC Franchises solutions among clinicians. In close partnership with region heads, develop strategy to support sales efforts by deploying clinically relevant education through clinical consultants that drive deeper utilization. Working closely with marketing teams to define clinical strategies and supporting clinical content generation. Supporting the team in developing strategic content for full range of medical content (slide presentations, advisory boards, strategy guides, monographs, discussion guides, training resources, etc.). Communicating medical content with internal team and clients. Supporting the team in developing, writing and translating complex scientific data to a broad audience across wide-ranging diagnostic areas. KOL Management Define and execute KOL engagement strategy for POC Franchise with a focus on Critical Care franchise. Architect and build a global KOL panel that effectively drives education and awareness programs around specific clinical, analytical and operational objectives of POC Franchises. Identify, partner and engage effectively with KOL’s to maximize opportunities that further develop market and promote Siemens Healthineers POC solutions. Supporting and managing KOL relationships, running and managing advisory panels for all product lines within POC. Ensuring project quality and outcomes by demonstrating in depth knowledge of diagnostics industry. Providing support and ideas for new business proposals and tactical planning. Accountable for and manages budget and expense. Hire, retain, and develop a team promoting engagement with a spirit that embraces energetic and growth centered marketing culture with a focus on collaboration. This position may suit you best if you are proficient with the below skills and would like to develop your career with Healthineers: 10+ years relevant experience in medical communications, healthcare advertising agency, medical education, or similar field; Shown experience translating complex scientific concepts for customer consumption Successful history prioritizing projects, juggling competing client priorities & meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality Flexibility to meet the demands of a dynamic environment Excellent presentation skills in the customer environment, show team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation Experience and requirements for success in this role: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Minimum of 8-10 years Diagnostics Technology experience; including experience in a clinical marketing, clinical sales or marketing role Willing to travel up to 30% At Siemens Healthineers, we value those who dedicate their energy and passion to a greater cause.
