We're looking for an experienced leader who can bridge strategy and execution while leading a team across the continent and effectively grow brand visibility, enhance employee engagement and tell stories with purpose. What your day-to-day will look like: You will be developing and implementing an effective regional communications strategy aligned with the global communications strategy to enhance brand visibility and create an environment that supports sales and execution within the North American region. In addition, you will showcase what a phenomenal place to work Siemens Mobility is to both current and future employees by telling notable employee stories and creating and carrying out employee engagement campaigns. This storytelling will require an individual passionate about the rail industry, bringing pioneering communications tactics to traditional marketing communications campaigns, and loves promoting a positive internal culture. More specifically, you will: Work in lockstep with the Mobility leadership team to develop a regional communications strategy that supports business objectives and sales campaigns. Be an active voice for regional perspectives as part of the global communications leadership team. Serve as a regional team leader leading all aspects of employee communication, executive communications, crisis communications, media relations, digital communications, diversity, equity and inclusion communications, advertising, marketing communications, sponsorships, and critical customer events. Develop and grow regional communication team members with the experience and skills needed to drive the team forward Collaborate with government affairs on transportation policy communications Build customer relationships for crucial announcements, media events, and ongoing storytelling Work closely with regional business unit leadership to ensure communications goals support business objectives. Support regional functional leaders in people and organization, compliance, and EH&S with their communication needs Handles all regional crisis communications for product and reputational issues Continuously bring new communications ideas that better the organization. Ensures digital is at the heart of every campaign, with clear critical metrics and data analytics that tell the story of overall success. Develops campaigns with people, purpose, and passion at the center About You: Proven communications or public relations experience Ability to manage a team across time zones and locations, directly and indirectly Experience working across a sophisticated, matrixed, global organization Extensive experience with crisis communications, executive visibility, essential communications counsel, and internal communications across different employee segments Ability to handle change, resolve problems and ensure collaboration within teams Ability to travel up to 30% of the time About Our Company: We are a separately managed company of Siemens AG.
