About the Role – Head of Compliance Based in Melbourne, the Head of Compliance Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) has the responsibility for the Compliance function of the zone ANZ which includes Australia & New Zealand across 2 legal entities. The Head of Compliance ANZ is assigned to the CEO of the zone ANZ and member of the global Compliance management team at Healthineers with a functional reporting line to the Head of Legal and Compliance Asia Pacific. Supports business in all compliance related matters relevant to the zone ANZ in the areas of Compliance risk management, policies and procedures, training and communications, advice and support, whistleblowing channels, compliance controls, monitoring and compliance reviews, compliance audits, investigations, consequences for misconduct, remediation, and case tracking. Actively supports and drives the Compliance function in the zone ANZ, in particular in setting up uniform processes and in providing business-oriented solutions and advice to the management, business areas and corporate departments in Siemens Healthineers entities located in the zone ANZ. Pro-actively assesses the needs of the business, and develops strategies, processes and methods to mitigate compliance related business risks. Further the Head Compliance ANZ must ensure consistent implementation of those defined strategies, processes and methods. Represents Siemens Healthineers Compliance ANZ internally and externally (e.g. in industry associations, conferences). Responsibilities · Providing strategic direction to senior management on compliance issues. · Assessing the Siemens Healthineers compliance program and practices, identifying gaps and weaknesses, and establishing and implementing plans for continuous improvement. · Managing the Compliance Review Board meetings; · Providing advice and support to staff of the zone ANZ regarding compliance policies and matters (e.g. business advisor on Compliance topics, decision making in relation to Compliance tool approvals such as BPC, LoA, Gifts & Hospitality, SpoDoM); · Key Account Management, i.e. act as a business partner, which includes implementing compliance programs (controls, policies, training) in Siemens Healthineers companies of the zone ANZ; · Managing Compliance cases which includes conducting investigations and supporting the remediation process; · Coordinating and run selected Compliance-related projects and training sessions (internally and externally with business partners), including implementation of policies, tools and controls and conducting of trainings; · Reviewing and updating of local policies, guidelines and circulars in light of changes in applicable laws and regulations; Education & Experience · Leadership skills. · Professional ethics and high level of integrity. · Good analytical skills, organized and committed to deadlines. · Robust personality with high levels of energy and drive. · Self-motivated, with an ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic corporate environment. · Pro-active in identifying and implementing lean and business-orientated solutions and processes. · Adaptable and commercially minded team player with a collegial personality. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with high level of proficiency in verbal and written English. · Willing to travel and to stay in close contact with the business and external business partners. · Minimum 10 years’ experience in professional or corporate environment, among which at least 5 years working on Compliance matters. · Sound healthcare industry knowledge and experience. · Masters’ Degree or equivalent in Law, Business, Finance or related field.
