We’re looking for a Head of Controlling & Accounting to:

• oversee and direct the accounting, external audit and regulatory financial reporting activities of UBS Trustees (Bahamas) Ltd. and its affiliates

• create internal and external financial reports reflecting
operations, assets, liabilities, and other financial results in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards

• prepare weekly and monthly standard management reporting for senior management

• produce financial and other information for both local (The Central Bank of Bahamas) and global regulators

• Manage the monthly and yearly closing process of UBS Trustees (Bahamas) Ltd. and its affiliates

• report and analyze any variances in financial
information and perform ad-hoc analysis

• serve as the primary contact for the external auditor in the conduct of their examination of UBS Trustees (Bahamas) Ltd. and its affiliates

• proactively manage receivables and payables, including vendor payments and inter-company reimbursements.

• maintain fixed asset register and related depreciation

• review and approve all journal entries, including payroll entries
• reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts.
• supervise the financial accountant in the day-to-day performance of their responsibilities
