Job Description
Creative & Performing Arts (Head of Faculty) in Hangzhou Int'l School, Start in August2026.
Salary&Benefits
1.Salary: RMB 25,000–35,000 per month according to degree, relevant experience and school-based evaluation.

Purpose of Job:
• Provide professional leadership and management of the Creative & Performing Arts Faculty in the School.
• Continue to promote and grow a culture of performance in the School.
• To secure high quality teaching and presentation, the effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement for all students.
• Model and promote best practice in the teaching and learning in the Faculty.
• Promote the development, implementation and evaluation of teaching and learning strategies to maximise pupil outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate all aspects of the work of the Faculty and to respond appropriately to emergent issues ensuring that pupils are supported in their learning journey.
Candidate Profile:
Education, training and qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (essential) & evidence of relevant professional development, ideally with UK PGCE (or Masters in Education, or other teaching qualification giving) QTS (desirable).
• Working knowledge of the Chinese National Curriculum/IGCSE and A Levels as appropriate (essential).
Knowledge and experience
• Minimum two years’ teaching experience and evidence of team leadership (essential). • Be aware and up-to-date in all relevant safeguarding polices and practice (essential). • Knowledge and experience of how to use of ICT effectively in promoting student learning and managing data (essential).
• Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities (desirable).
Other
• Previous experience or knowledge of working with students for whom English is not their first language (essential).
