This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for their next leadership role: The Head of CS ML Americas will hold the full responsibility for all service supply chain processes (service parts / digital services) established in the Americas region by CS ML. Her / his mission is to achieve a high customer satisfaction by ensuring and continuously improving on a high-performance service supply chain in the Americas. This role is responsible for service parts transportation / deliver / return and sourcing as well as warehousing in all phases of the lifecycle of a service part. Additionally this role is also responsible for running a non-physical supply chain processes towards American countries by CS ML. Directs and oversees the flow of materials, equipment, goods, supplies, etc., from suppliers where CS ML Americas is the global source for Healthcare Customer Service. Conceptualizes plans and requirements for purchasing the most complex materials. Directs contract negotiations for goods, services, suppliers, equipment related materials, transportation, and storage; monitors contractual obligations for compliance. Oversees the evaluation of vendor performance. Conceptualizes all aspects of materials planning function and to ensure that organizational goals are met. The position will have primary service supply chain responsibility for Americas based Business Units (MI, USD, CAI, POC, MM) including maintaining global safety stock for the Americas based business units. As the Head of CS ML Americas, you will be responsible for: Developing and running the CSML owned operations in the Americas region as well as maintaining a highly mature Managed Logistics process in the Americas region. Managing the CS ML AM processes together with the respective team leaders, ensuring all processes are handled in an efficient and cost effective manner Managing all employees within CS ML Americas as direct reports, team development, coaching, mentoring Cooperating with and support the zones and countries in improving the local service supply chain processes in Americas region in order to ensure optimal end-to-end Supply Chain (order mgt/return, distribution network, inventory optimization and related IT tools). Work closely with countries and other CS HQ-AM processes and Process-IT team for this. Responsible for continuous and strategic improvement of the CS ML processes together with CS ML globally and in close alignment with the Business Areas / Business Lines especially with those located in the American Region. Responsible for the CS ML Americas Process House, ensuring global harmonized processes within CS ML globally. Ensures a high quality management within the processes and organization. Required skills to have for the success of this role Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree is preferred Managed Logistics processes; sourcing/returns, planning, order processing, distribution network / transportation optimization, life cycle management, update management, license management Prior professional experience in geographies in North America, Latin America (2 Healthineers Regions = 19 countries) Willing to travel up to 40% Siemens Healthineers has recently announced the next steps in our continued commitment to prioritize colleague health, comply with customer/business partner requirements, and help preserve our business continuity.
