We are looking for a Head of Cyber & Technology Risk – APAC who can:

• lead a team of 2LoD (second line of defense) operational risk experts with direct line responsibility for a small regional specialist team
• build strong relationships with Senior C&ORC, IT and Business stakeholders (including Legal, Compliance, HR, Technology, Group Information Security Office, BCM and Audit functions) across the APAC region to proactively identify risk issues, drive remediation activities and continuously improve C&ORC GF Cyber & Technology Risk services.
• work with C&ORC counterparts and act as the 2LoD Regional regulatory SME and provide governance oversight of 1LoD IT in maintaining compliance with local regulations.
• attend regional technology risk forums, as well as the critical processes/ cut-off times/ potential pain points in the region, understand Cyber & Technology risks of key vendors in the region for, deliver regional and location/entity level IT risk positions when required and oversee regional logistics for C&ORC GF Cyber & Technology Risk staff.
• manage regulatory interactions and be the SME on regulations in the APAC region where they concern technology and cyber risks. Direct experience with regulators is essential.
• understand the key external audit reporting for the region and ensure appropriate IT attention as needed.
• provide functional and regional specific thought leadership for Cyber & Technology Risk topics and input into the Global IT Risk strategic direction.
• ensure active management of IT risks by 1LoD in accordance with the Group’s Risk framework across the region.
