Digital Operations Office (DOO), within Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics (DX) - Laboratory Diagnostics (LD) Operations, is a newly established organizational unit tasked with strategy, planning and execution of end-to-end digitalization of LD business operations. One of key pillars of the DOO is Data Operations. Head of Data Operations will provide vision for the digitalization architecture across all DX data operations, but also develop and implement efficient sustainability model for managing data operations within global end-to-end connected value chain setting (from our customers’ labs to our material suppliers). Key role assignments include: Architecting and implementing integrated, global platform for scalable data operations for all reusable DX data assets, including customer data, machine data and enterprise data, Maintaining required levels of operational readiness of the data platform for uninterrupted global usage, Implementation of global user base support processes, including specification of contracts and SLAs with key internal and external partners and providers of data operations services, Planning and managing budget and resources required to maintain uninterrupted operations across global data assets base. Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as Head of Data Operations: This is a role well suited to an accomplished technical leader, who combines experience in architecting complex digitalization solutions and optimizing information technology management processes with vision for innovative use of modern information technology. As Head of Data Operations, you will share P&L responsibility with the DOO Leadership team, but also be directly responsible for: Setting strategic direction for digitalization platform, including standards, methods and tools of data extraction, transport, curation, accumulation, and consumption Definition of DX digitalization architecture for the entire DX data eco-system, and architecture implementation roadmap alignment with other SHS and DX architecture teams Managing phased implementations of state-of-the-art data operations platform Introduction and implementation of data operations metrics and integrated dashboard Developing contracts with internal and external partners to maintain integrated support network Implementation of rules and policies specified in global frameworks for data governance, data protection and cybersecurity Collaborating with IT on roadmapping, planning and implementation of digitalization architecture and data management platform technologies Leading a dedicated group of architects and operations managers, facilitating ongoing maturing of their organizational capabilities, development of talent and functional excellence This position may suit you best if you have significant experience with Hands on architectural leadership in the domains of integrated information systems, digital transformation solutions and data management platforms (IoT, cloud, data lake, …) Designing, specifying, and implementing cybersecurity, data protection and IT operations risk management solutions Overseeing implementations of technology solutions in the domains of connected devices, advanced analytics, and ML/AI applications Managing budgets associated with IT investments (infrastructure, programs, support, etc.) Building and nurturing extensive network of partners (consultants, contractors, vendors, internal and external strategic enablers) Developing talent and leading effective expert teams Agile management of a portfolio of ongoing development and support projects Required demonstrated skills to have for the success of this role Ability to envision and lead organizational change Willingness to take risks with advanced tools and methods, but also to make commitments to delivering measurable results Extensive breadth of communication and team building skills (persuasive motivation, problem solving, negotiation and consensus building, conflict resolution, …) Commitment to demonstrate, promote and motivate ownership culture Thorough understanding of modern information technologies in the domain of data management Master’s degree or equivalent experience is required with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience within technical operations Minimum of 5 years of management career (in one or more technical operations areas: architecture, design, development, testing, support) Willing to travel up to 20% Siemens Healthineers has recently announced the next steps in our continued commitment to prioritize colleague health, comply with customer/business partner requirements, and help preserve our business continuity.
