职责描述

You will be taking on a team of digital execs with a particular focus on paid social and video advertising. You will bring more sophistication to the acquisition strategy by helping develop the existing strategy further (paid social, display, SEO etc.) but you will also introduce and develop other customer acquisition channels.

Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, the Head of Digital Acquisition will join the team to help set the vision, direction and goals for italki's acquisition strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the global Digital Marketing acquisition budget taking direct accountability for the cross-channel Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) targets
  • Direct management of the Digital Acquisition team comprising of Paid Ads and SEO/Inbound marketing specialists
  • Continuously explore and introduce new digital marketing channels to the business
  • Manage and drive digital marketing tactics securing maximum exposure, with a focus on driving new customer acquisition
  • Accountable for the selection and management of 3rd party agencies/partners and their ongoing performance
  • Accountable for setting the framework for the continuous improvement of digital acquisition activities
  • Work with the wider digital marketing team to set-up and manage the digital marketing infrastructure (Tag Management, Campaign Tracking, Marketing Analytics, Attribution, etc.)

Requirements

  • 6+ years relevant digital acquisition experience, with a proven track record as a senior leader that has managed teams, partnered with digital agencies, and led successful multi-platform campaigns for a multinational / multicultural organization
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Business or a similar field
  • Experience in a B2C or C2C environment managing a large number of channels and global campaigns including Paid search, Video Advertising, Display Media etc.
  • Experience in demonstrating strong return on investment on Google Adwords (Youtube ads) or Facebook ads, and strong understanding of web analytics
  • Strong analytical, project management and team leadership skills to achieve acquisition targets.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills and with at least intermediate conversation level in Mandarin

Plus

  • Master's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). And website analysis using a variety of analytic tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tool.
  • Experience in high tech, software development, education technology industries
  • Experience in growing and scaling company growth or start up team experience
  • Experience in companies with global / regional presence with multiple offices across different geographical locations
