Job Title: Head of English (K-12 IB World School)
Location: Suzhou, China
Contract Period: 3 years
IB-certified School；Around 2000 students；

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the English department across K-12, including curriculum development, teaching quality, and team coordination.

Teach English classes as part of the regular teaching load, with teaching hours determined by the school's schedule.

Support and evaluate English teachers through lesson observations, professional development, and collaborative planning.

Ensure English instruction aligns with IB philosophy and school-wide learning objectives.

Coordinate departmental meetings, resource allocation, and parent communication related to English learning.

Participate in school-wide academic events and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.


Compensation and Benefits
Monthly Salary: RMB 35,000 – 36,000 (pre-tax)

Head of Department Allowance: RMB 2,000 (pre-tax) per month, paid for 11 months per year (unpaid in July)

Contract Completion Bonus: RMB 72,000 (pre-tax), payable upon completion of the 3-year contract

Annual Flight Allowance: Up to RMB 10,000 per year

Relocation Allowance (one-off): RMB 5,000

Housing Allowance: RMB 5,500 per month

Health Insurance: Provided

Paid Holidays: Approximately 10 days of Christmas leave per year (according to school calendar)
