The incumbent is a member of the Agency’s senior management team and responsible for formulating and overseeing the implementation of the agency’s Human Resources strategy to nurture and engage staff for sustainable humanitarian services
Key Responsibilities:
- To proactively lead in the formulation, implementation and review of Human Resources strategies and policies in support for the development of the Agency
- To provide professional advice to the Secretary General and service departments on all aspects of Human Resources planning, management and development and succession planning
- To lead the HR office in the overall provision of professional Human Resources services including recruitment and appointment, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, talent management, staff wellness and relations etc. to meet the strategic goals of the Agency.
- To develop Agency’s capacities to assure quality, efficiency and continuous improvement in Human Resources Management
- To assure compliance for Human Resources Management related legislations
- To keep update on best practices and latest trend in Human Resources Management for developing Human Resources professionalism in the Agency
Requirements:
- High enthusiasm on human services
- University degree holder preferably in Human Resources Management or equivalent professional level in Human Resources Management
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Human Resources Management with at least 5 years at managerial level and above
- A proven record of achievements in developing strategic initiatives in Human Resources management, and introducing change and delivering pragmatic solutions to Human Resources issues
- Well conversant on contemporary Human Resources Management practices, labour market trend and Human Resources Management related legislations
- Self-motivated and strong leadership with a strategic vision and foresight
- Strong critical thinking with analytical mind
- Possess high level of confidence, professionalism and excellent presentation skill
- Demonstrate strong competency in communication will all levels, good at staff and stakeholders engagement, people leadership and team collaboration
- High proficiency in written English and Chinese. Good spoken Putonghua would be an added advantage
- Candidates with experience in NGOs and working with volunteers is highly preferred
Contract: 3 years (Renewable)
