Objectives & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Head of Human Resources & Office Administration (HR & OA) is expected to work closely with the management team in supporting the growth and transformation of the Corporation.
This is an important Senior Leadership role of the HKSTP, as we go through a cultural transformation of our organization. We are hoping to drive the future of Hong Kong through Innovation & Technology. Below are key objectives & some of the major functions of this job:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies to support the Corporation’s business development
- Manage the HR & OA functions for the Corporation and focus on building required competencies, skills, motivation and behavior for implementing business strategy
- Ensure HR & OA functions, including staffing & employee development, performance management, rewards, organization development & succession planning, employee relations & communications as well as office administration etc. are properly delivered
- Lead ongoing review & implementation of rigorous HR & OA work processes and procedures for the Corporation
- Prepare Board/Committee papers relating to HR & OA issues
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources Management or other relevant disciplines, at least 15 years of relevant working experience of which with 10 years in managerial capacity
- Seasoned Professional with excellent management and interpersonal skills
- In addition to thorough understanding of HR & OA areas, work experience in hi-tech industries and knowledge in PRC labor law are preferable
- Ability to work with different levels of stakeholders, a change agent that can facilitate organization transformation
- Apart from possessing excellent English & Chinese language skills, good interpersonal & leadership skills are also required
