Well-known British school, located in Chengdu, offers private K-12 education. They are currently looking for a Head of IGCSE/A-Level English department to start in August 2024. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified teacher (QTS, teaching license, SACE or similar) with at least five years of relevant teaching experience.

Client Description
The school itself is a century-old prestigious UK School, that opened its second international campus in September, 2015 in Chengdu. The school currently offers secondary level education to Chinese nationals , however, they are already planning to extend their offer to include all K-12 grades. The school, with both day and boarding options, plan to accommodate 1,200 students once the new campus will be fully operational. The main language used in teaching and working is English.

Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above
2. Teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS, SACE, etc.)
3. At least 5 years teaching experience
4. Management experience
