Mission

Lead China IT team to build and strengthen IT retail support structure, project management, ensuring processes established are well received by both corporate and the users, and by the establishment of IT standards & procedures, ensure the function is well maintained.

Be a business partner for business departments and support function by finding solutions to business problematics, and proactively suggest improvements.

Key Duties & Activities

• Support the Company in the implementation of IT projects/systems for its retail environment and develop a vision on IT transformation (IT Planning, digitization,) .

• Support all IT retail functions and activities, build an efficient and effective retail helpdesk support model.

• Guarantee systems reliability, available, data quality to a high standard

• Maintain oversight and management of all IT projects. Ensure project delivery deadline commitments and manage risks and dependencies across the portfolio.

• Work with vendors, partners, subsidiaries and parent company on the successful strategy, planning and implementation of technical capabilities and platforms.

• Ensure compliance to national and international security and data compliance regulations

• Leading digitization process of company by aligning with business strategies.

• Define, manage and execute the IT budget in line with business strategy
• Manage the recruitment, development, retention and performance management of the IT staff working within the team. Develop clear job descriptions, objectives and priorities for all staff

Job Requirements

• University graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• 10 years of IT system application support experience which 5 years from a retail setting
• Solid experience in change management of new system implementation (POS/ERP/CRM/BI reporting)
• Knowledge of digital E-com system in China with major platforms will be a plus, such as Tmall, Wechat, Aliyun ……
• Excellent communications skills, strong vendor management capability
• Ability to work under pressure
• Project Management
• Proven experience as a team leader
• Fluent in English – French and/or Chinese fluency is a plus
