ABOUT THE ROLE?

This is a senior management role with a seat at the country Senior Management Team (SMT). As, the Head of IT & Digital, your role will help organise and control significant groups of AZ, partners or teams of managers to ensure performance objectives are achieved in line with the agreed business strategy and business objectives and is accountable for the provision of IT delivery to the business unit.

We see you managing multiple information systems and projects, including digital, data, innovation ecosystems, and office automation, and oversee back office operations of the affiliate management information system. We’ll need to you to tap into your creative ability to design, implement, and evaluate the systems that support end users in the productive use of computer hardware and software, and develop and implement user-training program.

This position will allow you to drive the IT vision and strategy for their area, develop operating plans, negotiate budgets and lead performance measurement to ensure the effective delivery of business objectives within timescales and quality standards.

It will be your responsibility to define and implement the strategy for trend technology; cloud computing, digital eco-systems and transformation, KPIs setting, Innovation hub, data strategy and governance. Showing to the business the relevance for this technology and how each one can impact in to the business.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED?

• Experience of working and leading leaders in a global, matrix organisation with complex/geographical context
• Experience of leading IT business area strategy
• Budget management experience
• Experience with digital projects including global platforms based in SalesForce, python, adobe experience manager and AWS like type of technologies.
• Solid experience within a pharmaceutical organisation
• Experience of leading teams with a demonstrable track record of motivational and achievement oriented leadership
• Strong experience of developing relationships with senior internal customers and suppliers
• Good understanding and awareness of the Digital, Data & AI space.
