Within IT Product Development and Production, your role is to implement the best processes, methods, and tools, to deliver IT services for Production at DTA. You’ll ensure the advancement of the Company and IT strategy, and support in achieving our desired transformation across the organization. You will oversee the planning and management of the overall IT suite for the production line, and act as a partner with our business colleagues to help ensure a proper transition of ideas into service.
Main tasks and targets of this position
Main objective:
The main responsibility of this department (ITC/AP), within the IT organization of MFTBC, is to be a strategic business partner for Product Development and Operations unit with responsibility for all IT Operations, IT Development and IT Strategy, working in close collaboration and alignment with business stakeholders.
Key Tasks:
- Provide support to all IT related activities for Product Development and Operations at MFTBC
- Manage and deliver projects from demand to go-live in alignment with stakeholders to ensure that priorities are being met
- Plan, design and run IT while ensuring governance, compliance and effective delivery of services in line with objectives
- Develop and lead people within your responsibility to meet current and future demands from business partners
- Drive innovation through evolving technologies in alignment with overall DTA IT Strategy
- Ensure implementation of IT Security and compliance standards in timely manner as per Daimler Trucks Global Standard
- Manage IT budget effectively and prioritize projects through portfolio management
- Source IT through strategic initiatives and manage suppliers through KPIs
