Due to our steady growth, we are eager to add a Head of Material Logistics Management to our team. In this dynamic, and visible role, you will manage a growing team of 25+ people, with various levels of management therein, coordinating overall materials management activities across all projects and sites. What your day-to-day will look like: • Develop and drive a comprehensive 5 year+ Materials Logistics strategy. • Lead material availability process compliance & standard methodology at 40+ stores on multiple customer sites. Ensure standardized process is implemented across differing projects to enhance alignments and effectiveness. Create & live standardized and standard process playbooks. • Drive standardization and optimizations of MRP systems and MRP processes used in all projects. • Drive continuous improvement with a focus on digitalization within processes, systems, tools, and training. • Expand current set of KPIs & automate. Use the KPI’s to drive data-based productivity improvements in all areas of responsibility. • Expand upon current digital tools, reporting, usage, and capabilities to drive efficiency of process and supply of materials. • Ensure optimal material availability >99% without jeopardizing inventory turns. Ensure optimal and cost-effective logistics supply of material to sites / projects to satisfy work order dates. Drive continuous improvement initiatives. To thrive in this role, you have: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline, • Expertise level experience in data analysis & critical thinking, • Demonstrable successful experience running management teams in a large capital equipment, project environment utilizing a data-based management style with focus on Logistics/Planning/Materials, • Strong ERP & MRP knowledge and experience, • Advanced experience with Excel, • Capable of developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic approach for all material operations.
