Head of Materials Siemens Healthineers is seeking an experienced Head of Materials to join our inclusive Healthcare Diagnostics business. This Head of Materials role is based at our site in Sudbury, Suffolk, and offers a favourable salary and benefits. This role has some flexibility to work from home. As a flexible Head of Materials, you will be part of the Site Leadership Team and contribute to the implementation and development of the site strategy. You will also be responsible for the site's supply and demand planning, tactical procurement and site warehouse function. In your first few weeks in this Materials Head role, you can expect to: Establish a budget of operations and ensure that budgeted production goals are achieved, and cost objectives are met Formulate and implement operating policies and objectives or changes in existing policies and objectives Liaise closely with the global planning team to effectively integrate the S&OP results into the local planning and production processes To succeed, you will need extensive experience in operations/manufacturing, preferably in the medical diagnostics industry. You will also require an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems. In addition, you should have previous management experience and a background in an FDA or ISO regulated environment would be beneficial.
