Head of Operations (m/f/x) - IoT & Industry 4.0 venture

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for company operations translating the company’s strategy and vision in close collaboration with company C-Level, senior leadership, and teams into growth, scalability, and profitability 
• Continuously developing operations of this innovative type of company operating at the intersection of technology and consulting from the very early stages
• Build, lead and scale an innovative, high-performance, cross-functional operations team & department 
• Special focus on processes and operations in digital manufacturing & process consulting, delivery, software implementation & integration, customer onboarding & success and customer service & support
• Continuously monitoring of operational performance measured by KPIs, fostering customer-centricity and data-driven culture, whilst Identifying and targeting areas in which the business should improve 

Key Requirements

• Experience in B2B environment, ideally in software/hardware product and/or professional services company for industrial clients
• Proven ability to set-up & manage efficient and effective B2B operations, i.e. forming a team, defining processes, standards, benchmarks, etc. 
• Great interest in and/or experience in operational excellence in industrial context, ideally in manufacturing/shop floor/industry 4.0/IIoT/production or related traditional industry
• Ideally, experience in consulting and/or professional services and/or operations heavy solution in industrial context (industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, M2M, etc.)
• Being hands-on combined with ability to lead and set strategic direction, knowing how to ramp-up and make organization scalable
• Proven ability to build, grow and manage a small-mid sized team
• Entrepreneurial drive, strong analytical skills & data-driven mindset to evaluate performance and make adequate operational decisions
• Fluency in German and English is a must
