An established IB Certified school in Suzhou is seeking an experienced and dedicated leader to join its middle and high school division as Head of Physics (IBDP). Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Physics Department, including curriculum development and teacher supervision

Teach IBDP Physics courses in alignment with IB standards and assessment requirements

Ensure quality delivery of Internal Assessments, exam preparation, and moderation processes

Collaborate with other department heads and academic leadership to promote cross-curricular coherence

Support and mentor physics teaching staff through observation, feedback, and professional development

Oversee departmental resources, budgeting, and scheduling

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics

Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in IBDP Physics (essential)

Prior leadership experience as Head of Department or similar role is highly preferred

Decent English accent

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
