Your task as a product manager is to increase the company's success within our SIMATIC product lines in coordination with the other departments. The spectrum of your activities ranges from the definition of product innovations to the strategic aspects for the management of the existing portfolio. You will lead a team of product managers for HMI and IPC and coordinate the activities and synergies with the SCADA team whose coordinator will be under your responsibility, developing sustainable strategies in order to build on the success of the assigned business in agreement with the regional strategy and HQ. What are your responsibilities? Develop, for the assigned business, the Italian product strategy and be responsible for a long-term roadmap for the product/system lifecycle, which ensures the commercial success into the region, in agreement with HQ directives. Sales and profit and loss responsibility for the assigned portfolio Definition, monitoring of the company relevant KPIs and control of the measures to achieve the objectives set, in coordination with HQ and local sales Definition and alignment of the vision, strategy and roadmap, in order to establish the company as a global supplier Create and present visionary innovations (occasionally in front of investors or analysts), strategic decision proposals, as well as the calculation of business cases You will be responsible for strategic partnerships and lead necessary contract negotiations You will represent the company with regard to strategic customers, the press and analysts Lead a product management team in which you motivate and achieve steady improvements in your area Identification and promotion of high potentials and talents Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have: At least 8 years of experience in the field of HMI, IPC or SCADA technology, or product management At least 5 years of leadership experience managing people Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Automation, IT/Software, Electronics Engineering or Superior Technical Diploma Great people skills paired with a high level of assertiveness Attitude for customer relationship management and ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups and peer business units. Available for frequent short business trips on national and sometimes also international level.
