Your new role – challenging and future-oriented You will be responsible for the central, global quality management team for development projects in our Rail Infrastructure business unit (approx. 14,000 employees). To this end, you will manage approx. 30 employees both professionally and disciplinarily. You will define the overall quality standards for our highly complex R&D activities and ensure compliance with the standards in close cooperation with the stakeholders. In addition, you will be responsible for operational quality management in our specific development projects. Therefore, the resource management of the approx. 20 own quality managers in projects as well as further technically assigned colleagues from national subsidiaries is a central aspect of your task. You drive improvement and digitization projects for our research & development. Furthermore, you develop the cross-organizational and cross-national exchange in terms of lessons learned and best practice. Your qualifications – solid and appropriate You hold a Master's degree in engineering or computer science. In addition, you convince with many years of professional and leadership experience in quality management or research & development. You are characterized by a background in a project-driven, technically highly complex environment (e.g. plant engineering, automotive, railroad technology, aerospace or medical technology). Furthermore, you impress us with a good understanding of software development projects, which play an increasingly important role in our company. For your job with global responsibility, you will bring along very good English skills as well as a willingness to travel (approx. 10%). German language skills are an advantage, but not necessary.
