Head of R&D for air-insulated switchgear in Turkey will actively lead and develop the product portfolio of the business unit (BU) Electrification and Automation (EA) with focus on air-insulated switchgear (AIS) for the global IEC market. The activities will include components development and digitalization as well as design-to-cost and design-to-manufacturing. This will be done in line with the global innovation strategy of the BU! What part will you play? In co-ordination with the head office in Germany plan, execute and implement the innovation projects, define and execute the budget for both R&D and CAPEX and control the implementation in line with the released budgets and timelines. Act as part of a global network of R&D centers and the products developed will be manufactured in different factories worldwide. Your main partner for manufacturing topics will be the factory in Turkey as the lead-factory for AIS. As R&D Head, you will lead, motivate and develop your team. What you need to make real what matters. Bachelor degree in the area of electro technical or mechanical engineering. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the field of medium-voltage switchgear technology and a minimum 5 years of experience in leading a team with direct personnel responsibility. Knowledge in digitalization and monitoring are of advantage. Flexibility to handle different and sometimes fast changing tasks, capability to communicate and work in a global team, persistence to fulfill tasks within a global network and intercultural sensibility. We expect commitment to effectiveness and delivering quality. Turkish & English fluently in speaking and writing is a condition. German knowledge is of advantage.
