YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Head of Regulatory Data Science & Digital Transformation, are to lead a team that will:

• Be responsible for the long-term definition, development and governance of global digital strategy in Regulatory Science (RS), delivering cross-functional and local software development and data analytics, while communicating and aligning priorities with Enterprise IT needed to enhance the Regulatory Science project portfolio
• Foster best practices exchanges between the region, global and countries, and Institutionalize digital governance and steering efforts across RS to foster transparency and sharing/re-use to be more ambitious in the definition of the benefits from digital initiatives
• Lead development and advance global data platforms that: 
  • Use data science and analytics to accelerate the digital transformation in Regulatory Science
  • Accelerate advancement decisions in the Crop Science (CS) pipeline via analytical insights and workflow automation Enable efficient and transparent interfaces with external stakeholders  
• Be a member of the Regulatory Science Leadership Team and partner with other R&D leadership to: 
  • Ensure delivery of regulatory data analytics to enable the portfolio
  • Align priorities to ensure appropriate funding of Data/IT capabilities
  • Drive a culture of data fluency throughout the organization

WHO YOU ARE

• Advanced University degrees in Life and Data Sciences or comparable areas  
• Long-term professional business experience in a related field
• Experience in integrating cross-functional data into an actionable life science business strategy
• Strong strategy, innovation cultivation, collaboration and visionary skills
• Excellent leadership skills including leading and partnering across science, IT and business units
• Ability to establish a wide and strong network, both internally and externally, that is grounded in trust and maintains an environment that supports open and honest two-way communication
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
