Long Description
In the area of responsibility. * Deploys SCM Strategy. * Defines and ensures implementation of SCM standards, regulations and guidelines. * Manages and contributes to overarching SCM programs and initiatives. * Takes care for effective risk management measures. * Ensures efficiency of SCM operations. * Takes final decision on SCM unit organization, unit related budgets and decides resource allocation. * Responsible for PVO, CoO/FTE and related other KPIs. * Negotiates and seals strategic SCM related contract agreements, decides SLA. * Heads organization assigned, and leads all related management and staff. * Acts as personal advisor to unit's Executives and Senior Management in all SCM-related issues.
- Leads a SCM organization, defines and implements SCM strategy, standards and guidelines in area of responsibility (both Procurement and Supply Chain/Logistics functions).
- Further strengthen and develop our APAC spare parts and supplies department. This position will play a key role in the APAC development of the spare parts and supplies End to End process following the global SOL SPS governance and ownership model towards to the continuous roll out of best practices in the region.
- Create, develop and execute the new department all around APAC for both former platforms, sizing the team in the dimensions of S&OE, procurement, material and order management and repairs according to the regional needs.
- Ensure the fulfillment the Defined processes and KPIs for the overall E2E process.
- Follow and execute the Global SOL SPS governance and best practice.
- Develop an optimal regional supply chain to ensure the competitiveness of the business in the different dimensions, listening and being focus on our customer’s needs.
- Ensure the control of the APAC inventory and adjust it to the levels that the business require.
- Defines and ensures implementation of SCM standards, regulations and guidelines.
- Acts as personal advisor to unit's Executives and Senior Management in all SCM-related issues.
- University graduate with a minimum of 10 years of Supply chain and Procurement experience;
- Fluent in English, both orally and writing
- High degree of autonomy and willing to work under pressure;
- Excellent leadership interpersonal communication and negotiation skills;
- Well-organized, proactive, result- oriented and good team player
