Responsibilities:

Create and maintain the Escalator category plan and budget;

Ensure that plans are in sync with product platforms and release plans

Create team budget with own line manager

Create and maintain a resource plan

Set team performance requirements

Plan work content & tasks

Assign responsibilities to team members

Execute category plan for responsibility area

Follow and ensure that category plans are executed with high quality and with short lead time and full chain cost understanding

Monitor and report performance and progress

Get early signals of risks /threats to team performance, Solve pro-actively issues

Lead, manage and develop the KTO team to perform

Ensure the organization has the needed competences globally

People leadership (individual performance & growth

Lead working method and tool development and know-how (identify needs and manage changes

Networking (internal/external) to ensure collaboration and communication (collaboration w. other KTO teams, suppliers, partners.

Professional Requirements

M. Sc or equivalent

Min 10years of escalator R&D Technology development or PCM experience

Good business negotiation & communication skills

Research and Development methodologies

Project management methodologies

Engineering/design - mechanical, electrical, software, reliability, usability, patents

Management of Technology
