JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: International Head of Primary
Reports To: Head of School
Line Management: Grade-Level Leaders, Heads of Departments (HoDs), Library Staff,School Office
Overview
The Head of Primary is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), bridging the
Primary School sta? and the Head of School. This role encompasses both teaching and
administrative responsibilities, requiring exceptional leadership, organizational, and
communication skills. The Head of Primary supports the e?ective daily management of the
Primary School (K–G5), fosters a positive learning environment, and ensures alignment with
the school’s philosophy, objectives, and global education model.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or above in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching qualification or certification.
• Proven leadership experience in a primary or international school setting.
Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a similar
leadership role.
• Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., IB PYP, British, or American).
• Experience in curriculum development, teacher mentoring, and team management.
For International head of Primary C&B:
• Annual Salary: RMB 600,000-700,000 Yuan before tax;
• Health Insurance: will provide health insurance up to RMB 40,000 per school year for
international head of Secondary during the period of employment.
• Flight Reimbursement: School will provide airfare reimbursement with a maximum amount of RMB 30,000 per school year to international head of secondary and the accompanied dependent during the employment.
• Housing Allowance: School will provide free on-campus accommodation
• Education Allowance for Dependents: If the children (maximum 2 children) of Head of Secondary opt to attend school as students and are admitted by school, school will waive the application fee and tuition fees for the then school year. However, the school uniform fee, the meal fee and other miscellaneous expenses shall be borne by employee.
• Relocation Reimbursement: School will provide RMB 2,000 yuan as relocation reimbursement.
• Free meals: The School provides free working meals during working days
