Job Description

Purpose of Job:

  • Lead and adopt all health-economy related projects (responsible for adopting the European market access materials - cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models);
  • Develop and implement market access processes and provide technical expertise in Health Technology Appraisal submissions / administrative proceedings at SUKL (support HTA dossier production with a focus on HE project delivery and its governance);
  • Pricing management (mandatory cuts);
  • Build and maintain relationships with health economic and other relevant opinion leaders as well as reimbursement agencies;
  • Lead the value proposition and communication for all brands;
  • Provide – in close collaboration with marketing, medical, KAM, and sales colleagues – support and guidance to field-based activities;

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing of all local HE project delivery including governance (HTA dossier, HE models, local adaptation of EU models);
  • Developing local HE models according to SUKL/HIC´s need/methodology and preparing all requested comments to dossier;
  • Managing the pricing policy and reporting of expected mandatory price/reimbursement changes; 
  • Participating at AIFP HE / HTA section, managing external KOLs/vendors; 
  • Facilitating HE/HTA training and education internally and taking the lead in HTA in CZ affiliate;
  • Participating in the development of the local value-based strategy to secure broad product access for Amgen´s new and existing products;
  • Describing all value stories for sales teams.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • 5-years University Degree (ideally Ing., Mgr., PharmD.) with experience/seniority in the industry and analytical skills;
  • A degree/training in Health Economics (or solid knowledge of the SUKL methodology);
  • Solid project management skills for multiple tasks/projects/priorities and complex issues to propose innovative solutions;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both in Czech and English);
  • Cross-functional leadership within the organization and ability to drive and influence peers in complex (matrix) organization;
  • Ability to steer the team towards objectives and hold peers highly motivated;
  • Value-based negotiation skills and convincing communication style;
  • Relationship with national & regional payers & authorities is preferred.
