Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure that all processes + practice within the scope of work for the specified customer meet all regulatory requirements as well as internal best practice standards to ensure the highest levels of safety for employees, customers, visitors.

To administer agreed safety programs emphasizing a proactive approach to employee safety and accident prevention.

To act as the advocate for employee workplace health and safety.


Roles & Responsibility:

  • To ensure that all required safety policies and processes are in place and followed at all times.
  • To manage all KN related facility safety programs in accordance with established external and internal regulations
  • To ensure that the facility operator is alerted to all safety concerns and that remedial actions are put in place in a timely manner.
  • To review the workplace and assess possible dangers including trip and fall hazards, fire dangers and any other possibility of injury to workers and then design and implement solutions to remove or minimize risk to the workforce, visitors etc.
  • To enforce the use of required safety gear and procedures.、、、、
  • To be responsible for educating employees and management on all safety guidelines and procedures established for the company as a whole, as well as those specific guidelines established for individual job functions and to ensure that all safety related training is completed and documented (either internally or via outsourced provider)
  • To monitoring adherence to established safety standards and work with relevant manager when non compliance is identified
  • To conduct regularly scheduled safety audits, daily monitoring and surprise inspections, to consistently review how the employees and managers are implementing established safety standards.
  • To provide reports on injury and accident percentages, and suggest adjustments that may be needed to the safety policies and procedures to account for new activity or dangers.
  • To lead the investigation of workplace incidents and review incident reports to make sure they include all necessary information and action needed to prevent future incidents.


Requirement:

  • Degree requirement: bachelor degree
  • Working experience: 2 years up related working experience in warehouse or contract logistics field
  • Language: Intermediate Level of English
  • Skills: Good communication skills with internal and external customers, can deal with MS software (PPT, Excel, Word). Having knowledge of EHS (environment, safety, health and security) related legislation would be the advantage but no limited
  • Personal traits: Self motivated with a positive attitude, good time management, high energy and stress tolerance and work efficiency
