As a member of the Product Management team, the Customer Engagement Manager will be responsible for various aspects of the entire Product Management cycle of our product, and/or components and feature sets within the product. Your main responsibility will be managing some of the most important customers of Siemens Healthineers, and representing the main interface between the customer and HQ. On a regular cadence you will interact with the customer, either onsite or remote. You will gain deep understanding of the customer needs and workflows, translate these into product requirements and drive the implementation of those into the product. You will advance our product from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your interaction with customers. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market. You will serve as the voice of the customer in decisions made regarding future products, and control product scope based on a detailed understanding of needs, requirements and resources. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with engineering counterparts to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external advocate for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers. Key Responsibilities You own the customer relationships with some or our most important customers, from working level to executive level You contribute to driving our business targets by managing customer relationships on a global customer base, and in cross-modality and cross-product settings You achieve high customer satisfaction by ensuring a very close collaboration with the customer You contribute to the strategy, roadmap and portfolio planning of the Medicalis product portfolio You understand the customer needs and workflows and translate these into product requirements You drive the realization of the customer needs into product functionalities throughout the complete product management cycle. In this process you work very closely with and provide leadership to R&D, implementations, customer success management, business management and regional organizations. You foster agile SW development methodology, and constantly aim to improve our agile processes You plan and execute customer engagement feedback activities, product validation, and formal customer use and usability tests You present new products, product enhancements, and business cases at stakeholder meetings throughout the organization (working level to management level) Key Requirements You have a strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, imaging technologies and clinical IT, and internal processes of healthcare providers Multiple years of experience in product management in an agile process environment You have a solid track-record of working in and leading cross-functional teams, ideally within product management or related areas Demonstrated track record of being a self-starter with the ability to drive topics to completion and a propensity to think outside the box to solve simple and complex problems creatively. Excellent communication skills. Ability to translate complex healthcare, clinical, and technical workflow concepts to lay persons. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, primarily within the USA and Canada. Some international travel may also be required. Ideal candidate has a minimum 10 years’ experience providing end user support, software development, or product definition in an IT/software/computer-related field in a healthcare environment.
