Have you worked on High Level Design C++ applications or implemented HLD acceleration systems? Do you love collaborating with internal teams and helping customers with their end products? Is it exciting to work in a diverse team that spans multiple domains and vertical markets? Do you want to make valuable contributions to the team that helps identify market trends, then help influence next generation products and solutions?
As a business unit within Intel, we will continue to apply Moore's Law to drive the future of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology. The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. To take advantage of the many opportunities in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for an outstanding HLD Applications Engineer to join our Customer Experience Group (CEG) team specializing in HLD development using DPC++, oneAPI, FPGA Design, Flows, and Debug.
As an Applications Engineer in CEG, you will be responsible to support Intel FPGA solutions proactively to enable customers to quickly get their solutions to market. Additionally, you will interface directly with cross functional teams to contribute to the next generation product definition, identify market trends and direction, and quickly resolve complex technical issues to allow customers to meet the market demands.
Your specific role includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Providing guidance from a customer and systems perspective on HLS and oneAPI product improvements to cross functional teams to create optimal solutions.
Creating HLS or oneAPI demos using C++ showcasing the capabilities of Intel PSG FPGA hardware solutions.
Handling customer escalations to provide C++ software solutions for FPGA hardware to meet customer requirements and working directly with development teams to build improved solutions in the future.
Providing HLS or oneAPI product readiness feedback as an early user to cross functional teams and managing efforts to improve all PSG products.
Developing C++ reference designs or subcomponents using HLS or oneAPI to align with key market strategies which provides the ability for customers to evaluate the technology while offering a starting point for their project.
Driving the strategy of new technology training for both internal and external audiences with the ability to transfer complex software topics to hardware engineers
Authoring documentation and other applicable materials to explain products and solutions that focus on both software C++ engineers as well as traditional FPGA users
You will become part of a company which continues to change the world through its brilliant people. To reward the amazing contributions of our people we offer a market competitive compensation & benefits package including plenty of family and flexible work benefits (i.e. the opportunity for part time home office work), programs that focus on your health and wellbeing, many development opportunities and enough time to relax, re-charge and retreat.
We believe in flexible working models. Intel is an equal opportunity employer.
