Assist in managing high performance compute resources, including Linux and Windows servers, Linux ION and Netbatch, and SAN / NFS Storage.
Main duties includes (both Windows and Linux environments):

• Storage provisioning (resize and new)
• Support Long Term Retention efforts
• Permission provisioning
• Resource audit remediation

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.   

Minimum Qualifications:

• Student enrolled in BS, Licenciatura or MS degree in computer or engineering related degree (example CS, CE, SW, System Engineering, EE)
• Academic experience in basic Linux skills
• Advanced English level
• Must remain an active student and willing to work for at least one year.
• Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intermediate to advanced Linux knowledge
• Experienced scripting (example Perl, Python, Shell)

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
