Intel HPC (High Performance Computing) organization is responsible for managing and optimizing Intel's private global computing cloud, which is among the largest private clouds.
Field Engineer is a critical role that integrate between IT HPC (High Performance Compute) environment with Intel next generations chip designers compute needs.
It provides optimization, acceleration and support to critical design projects while managing large scale HPC cloud environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate Engineer from one of the following department: Computer Science/ Software Engineering/ Information Systems/ Industrial Engineering
- Knowledge in Script Language programming (Python, Perl, Java)
- Knowledge in Linux operating system, environment and network is an advantage
- Fast and motivated learner with ability to work independently
- Customer orientation and team player attitude
Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
