A British-oriented bilingual school in northern Guangzhou seeks a full-time English as a second language (ESL) teacher in its international department. The ideal candidate should be able to start this position as soon as possible, hence preference is towards teachers who are currently in China.

The ideal candidate should possess:

- Experience in teaching at the middle and/or high school level for students aged 12 - 18 years old; or teaching/training young adults in educational settings
- Strong organizational, teamwork, and people skills
- Lesson planning skills
- A passion for international education, teaching and learning
- Knowledge of IELTS examinations (TOEFL, other exams accepted)
- University degree; bachelor's or above
- A valid passport in China that's able to be transferred to a new employer
- A passport from a native-English speaking country (non-native applicants will not be responded to, only apply if your citizenship is in the UK, US, Canada, South Africa, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand)
- TEFL/TESOL Certificate
