Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Native English-speaking High School English Teacher to join an international school in Guangzhou. The successful candidate will teach high school English courses and support students in developing strong academic reading, writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities
Teach High School English courses to secondary students
Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with international curriculum standards
Develop students’ academic writing, reading comprehension, and communication skills
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Support students’ academic growth and participate in school activities
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and development

Requirements
Native English speaker
Master’s degree or above required
Recognized teaching qualification required (PGCE / QTS / equivalent)
Around 2 years of relevant high school English teaching experience
Experience in international curriculum (IB / A-Level / AP / US curriculum) preferred
Strong communication skills and a passion for student development
