International High School English Teacher

Job Description
Responsible for teaching high school level curriculum to students ; Should be willing to positively contribute to the team as well as to the school.
Expect to maintain the high standard of teaching that is expected of the teachers.
Expect to participate in teacher training seminars, weekly meetings, group meetings as required by school management.
Be open to class observations by senior academic management as well as fellow teachers
Participate in academic meetings during which teachers would share new skills or methods that would overall contribute to the entire team.
Participate in school activities such as school parties, sports events etc.

Working Hours and Days:
Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 5pm (only 12 teaching hours per week)
8 office hours per week
Start Date and Contract Length:
Starting date : August,2019
12-month contract renewable

Class Size and Ages:
Ages 16-18 years old, 40 students each class

Location:
Jiangdu District, Yangzhou , Jiangsu Province

Requirements:
Candidates should be from the US, UK, Canada, Australia or any native English speaking countries
Candidate with experience teaching an international curriculum (US, UK IGCSE/A Level, IB) in international school preferred
Bachelor’s degree or above in related field.
Two years’ teaching experience or Master's degree is preferred though not required.

Salary & Benefits:
14-20k (depending on qualifications and experience)
30 days winter and 40 days summer holidays
