Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified High School Japanese Teacher to join our school in Pudong, Shanghai. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Japanese as a foreign language within international or bilingual school settings and will inspire students to develop strong communication skills and cultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Japanese language and culture to high school students.

Design and deliver engaging lessons that meet international curriculum standards.

Prepare students for internal and external assessments (e.g., IGCSE/IBDP or equivalent).

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Support students’ holistic development through inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the world languages program.

Participate in school events, clubs, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Japanese Language, Education, or related field.

Recognized teaching qualification preferred (PGCE, Teaching License, or equivalent).

Experience teaching Japanese at the high school level; international curriculum experience is an advantage.

Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese; strong English communication skills.

Ability to start as soon as possible.
