Job Description

1.To teach the curriculum established by the school, integrating the curriculum with the school's Educational Objectives;
2.To take the responsibility of designing lesson plans that demonstrate a clear connection between instruction and the curriculum established by the school, selecting and using school-approved teaching strategies and classroom resources, implementing teaching research;
3.To provide a stimulating and effective learning environment for the students in supporting their learning, encouraging students' creative thinking and promote critical inquiry;
4.To maintain close partnership with parents, colleagues and the community;
5.To provide both written reports (termly) and informal communications (where required) to parents on the growth, progress, and attainment of the students;
6.To Create a safe, orderly and supportive classroom atmosphere that is conducive to effective teaching and learning;
7.Other duties as reasonably required by the Principal of International Division;

Requirements

1.Bachelor's degree or above (in Education or other subject related fields);
2.TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification;
3.Clear criminal background check;
4.A minimum 3 years of subject related IB teaching experience;
5.Ability to work as a part of a team in planning and implementing the school’s curriculum, strategic plans and policies;
6.QTS/PGCE/US Teaching license or other equivalent teaching certificates are highly preferred;
