Job Description

1.Master Next Generation Science Standards and Math how to motivate and equip students to master these skills;
2.Work on curriculum development, which includes preparing effective diverse lesson unites based on the school’s curriculum formats, and using technology effectively;
3.Collaborate with grade level teachers;
4.Explain concepts in a detailed, visual, and organized sequence;
5.Design authentic assessments and measure effectiveness in meeting curricular goals;
6.Maintain and update timely student records including grading (homework, grade books, progress reports, report cards, student attendance, and other required documents);
7.Be actively involved in extra-curricular activities as a faculty sponsor/advisor/coach/helper/school committee member;
8.Actively fulfill assigned supervision duties, which could include lunch recess or morning exercise supervision duty;
9.Work closely with parents/guardians through providing feedback on progress, answering questions, and being an educational partner where possible;
10.Proactively meet and communicate with parents/guardians, students and other teachers when necessary to develop interventions for students with academic, emotional/ behavioral or other needs;
11.Serve as a substitute teacher when needed;
12.Assist with additional duties as assigned;

Requirements
1.Bachelor's degree or above required in Scientific fields or Science Education;
2.Clear criminal background check;
3.Eligible or willing to pursue a valid teaching license/certificate;
4.At least 2 years full-time teaching science in a regular middle/high school setting;
5.Evidence of current relevant professional development especially in science instruction preferred;
6.Experience working with limited space or with large numbers of students preferred;

Salary and Benefits
1.Salary range 23,000 to 30,000 RMB per month based on experience and qualifications;
