The analog design team at Intel of Canada is looking for talented individuals who wish to be a part of building the analog circuits for Industry's next generation high-speed SerDes products.
Key Responsibilities:
� Develop and maintain testbenches for analog and mixed-signal verification
� Reliability and aging verification
� Scripting and flow development
� Determine creative design approaches and parameters
� Work with a team of analog and digital designers on the design, simulation, layout, and testing of both analog and mixed-signal circuits
� Drive innovation and initiatives to enhance existing automation, tools, and methodology
� Support teams of engineers with issues in quality and reliability of mixed-signal circuit
� Create necessary design and product documentation
� Perform in a dynamic and challenging environment with drive and creativity
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must be enrolled in a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
� Good fundamental knowledge of electronics and digital hardware concepts
� Solid written and verbal communication for expressing technical ideas and initiatives
� Deep demonstrated understanding of analog and mixed signal circuit design, including methodology, layout, analog designer tools, processes, and simulations
� Experience with tools for schematic entry, IC layout and SPICE simulation
� Knowledge of Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling is desirable
� Experience with TCL, Perl, C, python, or other scripting languages is desired
Must have permanent right to work in Canada without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
� Ability to work independently and develop quick engineering solutions for complex problems
� Ability to interface with engineers and managers by providing schedule updates
� High problem solving capacity and good tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to prioritize tasks independently
